BJP, AAP Train Guns At Each Other Over 'Corruption'

New Delhi: Union ministers Anurag Thakur and Dharmendra Pradhan and party general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya were among 13 senior BJP leaders who hit the campaign trail on Thursday and held roadshows across the city. Speaking at a gathering in a park in Vasant Kunj, Thakur hit out at CM Arvind Kejriwal over pollution as well as his ministers Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain over the alleged liquor scam.

“He (Kejriwal) said he will make (Delhi) London and Singapore. But is there so much pollution in those cities? Does the education minister indulge in liquor corruption there? Does the health minister get a massage in jail there?” Thakur said while campaigning for party candidate Jagmohan.

Claiming Kejriwal was “sending Punjab’s pollution to Delhi”, Thakur said, “Instead of installing 16 smog towers as promised, even the ones in Anand Vihar and Connaught Place have been closed.”
