New Delhi: South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) carried out an anti-encroachment drive near Karni Singh Shooting Range in Tughlaqabad on Wednesday. The civic body has prepared a schedule for nine days and sent it to the respective deputy commissioners of police for providing security forces, including women officers, to maintain law and order.
On May 5, the encroachment removal drive has been planned from Kalindi Kunj Park to Jamia Nagar police station. Areas from Sriniwaspuri to Okhla Railway Station would see demolition on May 6. On May 9, action will be taken from the main road of Shaheen Bagh (G-Block) from Jasola Canal to Kalindi Kunj Park.
