Malala attack revisited: School bus in Pak's Swat hit, 2 third graders hurt

On October 9, 2012, education activist and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai, just 14 years old then, was shot at by the Taliban while she was headed home from school in Mingora city in Pakistan's restive Swat region bordering Afghanistan. She was seriously wounded. Malala's mistake, she had stood up to Taliban for girl education.

Now, a day after Mingora marked 10 years since the attack, a driver was shot dead and two students critically wounded in an attack on a school bus in the city on Monday, police said.
