Shruti Haasan recently took to social media to open up about her struggle with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis. Sharing a workout video, the actress wrote that she is dealing with the ‘worst hormonal issues’.

Recent times have seen several celebs open up similarly about their PCOS condition. In fact, doctors share that today, 1 out of 10 women suffer from PCOS due to lifestyle changes, and they say that eating right – besides focusing on working out – is essential for those struggling with the condition. They also list out the symptoms that one should be looking out for.

 CELEBS WHO’VE SPOKEN ABOUT THEIR STRUGGLES WITH PCOS, PCOD & ENDOMETRIOSIS

SHRUTI HAASAN: She recently spoke about her struggles with PCOD on social media. She wrote, “I’ve been facing some of the worst hormonal issues with my PCOS and endometriosis (sic).” She added, “I choose to accept it as natural movement that my body goes through to do it’s best and I say thank you by eating right sleeping well and enjoying my work out (sic).”

SARA ALI KHAN: Sara Ali Khan spoke about her PCOD condition on a chat show, which resulted in weight gain. She said, “I was 96kg. Actually, I had PCOD. I still do.” In another interview, she revealed, “It (PCOD) is one of the things that I struggle with till date because the only real cure is a constant, consistent, focused and determined lifestyle change. There is no shortcut to it.”
