Pogacar wins his third Tour in style

Tadej Pogacar extended his lead on Sunday.

Tadej Pogacar had no need to attack in the final stage of the Tour de France. Defending a lead of more than five minutes in Sunday's time trial, he was set to win the race comfortably for the third time.

But defence has not been in his vocabulary. He simply could not resist another attack.

With main rival Jonas Vingegaard unable to challenge, Pogacar celebrated his first Tour victory in three years in style by dominating the time trial for the 17th stage win of his career.
