This month we have before us the Fujifilm X-H2 which has recently been launched in the world market along with the X-H2 S.
Design & Build Quality
The X-H2 is an Interchangeable Lens Mirrorless camera from Fujifilm. Like all Fujifilm cameras, it is built tough, and with its deep hand grip, is comfortable to hold. The body has 79 weather-sealed points for dust and moisture resistance and is made in Japan.
Key Features
The Fujifilm X-H2 is effectively a 40.2-megapixel APS-C Interchangeable Lens Mirrorless Camera incorporating an X-Trans CMOS H5 HR sensor (23.5 x 15.6 mm). This is the 5th generation back-illuminated sensor from Fujifilm. It is backed by an X-Processor 5 Image Processing Engine that has twice the processing speed of X-Processor 4. Fujifilm claims that "the sensor has an enhanced image processing algorithm that boosts resolution without compromising signal-to-noise ratio, delivering astonishing image quality". The X-H2 offers subject detection AF that is a result of deep-learning technology; it can detect and track not only human faces and eyes, but animals (birds included), cars, bicycles, motorcycles, airplanes and trains. A recent firmware update has extended the objects to insects and drones as well.
