When business simulators arrive on console, fans of the genre take a collective deep breath as the control schemes can be trickier than most to master. And when you begin playing Planet Zoo you might have to take just one more meditative moment, because diving head-first into sandbox mode to create your zoo of dreams is intimidating, to say the least.
Instead of being quickly humbled by the sight of how much space you've got to play with in the vast plains of Africa, career mode is your best place to start. Here, after choosing your desired difficulty level you're introduced to zoo owner extraordinaire Bernie Goodwin. Panning over his twinned zoo and home proves impressive, but you aren't being hired to poke about the peafowl enclosure, you're being employed to finish off the build.
