You left United Arab Emirates side Al-Wahda after only four months, your shortest spell as a coach. What happened?

I must say the vision was good, because it's a team that hasn't won the league in 13 years. That's what dragged me to join the team. I told myself there's an opportunity to win a league here. We were all aligned in that vision. That was something we were all looking forward to working on. But there are principles and alignment that must be followed. whether it's short-term, mid-term, or long-term plans. When we differ in terms of how I should do the work, I think the best thing is for both sides to part ways and it was the best way forward for the team. That is all.

You are often linked with a return home to the PSL, but do you feel you have moved beyond that in your career? Are you now firmly looking outside of Africa?
