Patrick Bamford has always been a player who divides opinion amongst Leeds supporters.

Fifty per cent like him and think he does a good job for the team. Fifty per cent are sort of frustrated by him and feel he misses too many chances.

Personally, I think he's a massive confidence player. When he gets on a run of form and starts scoring, he looks like a really good striker.

You saw that under Marcelo Bielsa, when he scored 17 Premier League goals and played for England.

You saw it with that goal against Peterborough in the FA Cup last season, when he brought down a dropping ball and then volleyed it into the top corner.

That's the sort of thing that Patrick can do when he's playing regularly and getting among the goals.

When he's had issues with injury - as has been the case for the last 18 months or so - or he's not getting regular football, he probably snatches at things and misses chances he would normally score.
