'OUR IDENTITY HAS TO SHINE BRIGHT'

LUKE Williams says there is no magic formula for derby success - but has urged his Swansea City players to sparkle against archrivals Cardiff City.

Williams' side host the first south Wales showdown of the season this afternoon and are set to be boosted by the return of midfield talisman Joe Allen, who is available for selection again following a toe injury.

The Swans walloped Preston 3-0 last time out in the Championship following a confident Carabao Cup performance over Gillingham (3-1), having lost narrowly to Middlesbrough (1-0) on the opening day.

But Williams acknowledges this game is like a cup final - albeit with points awarded at the end and there's no secret for success.

"If there was I would never tell you, it would be a closely guarded secret," Williams smiled. "But there isn't. Our best strategy in every game we play is to remember what we are and how we like to play football.
