"I can't believe it really, a dream come true," said Savage.
Having provided the assist for the first of Moore's two goals, the former Manchester United man added: "The game plan was stick it on his head and that's what I did.
"He got two nice headers and I thought he might have a hat-trick, which would have been nice for him."
Wednesday's friendly victory against Gibraltar was played in Wrexham, where dad Robbie was born and raised.
