The 23-year-old grew up in a union stronghold of Teddington, London but having been inspired by dual-code stars like Sam Burgess, he had an itch that needed scratching.
Williams joined Cornish Pirates in 2021 but only managed to make three Championship appearances due to consistent knee trouble and got in touch with renowned league coach Jason Demetriou, who secured a move down under for the ground and pound style flanker.
Having signed for South Sydney Rabbitohs, Williams is part of the NRL side’s Cup squad but has his sights set on higher honours under legendary coach Wayne Bennett.
