iPadOS - NEW WAYS TO WORK, NEW EXPERIENCES, AND EVEN MORE CUSTOMIZATION

APPLE INTELLIGENCE

Apple Intelligence is at the core of iPadOS 18, a groundbreaking personal intelligence system that combines the power of generative models with personal context. Built with privacy from the ground up, Apple Intelligence is deeply integrated into iPadOS 18, iOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. This system leverages the power of Apple silicon and the Neural Engine, offering useful and contextually relevant features. One of the standout aspects of Apple Intelligence is its commitment to privacy.

Data processed through Apple Intelligence is not stored or made accessible to Apple, and independent experts verify this privacy promise. This ensures that users can enjoy the benefits of advanced AI without compromising their data.

iPadOS 18 introduces new systemwide writing tools that allow users to rewrite, proofread, and summarize text across various apps, including Mail, Notes, and Pages. These tools enhance productivity by making it easier to produce high-quality written content quickly and efficiently. Communication and selfexpression are further improved with Image Playground, a feature that allows users to create playful images in seconds.

Whether animation, illustration, or sketching, users can choose different styles to add a creative touch to their messages and notes. Moreover, the new Memories feature in the Photos app uses Apple Intelligence to craft storylines from photos and videos. Users can simply type a description to create personalized movies highlighting their favorite moments.

Siri takes a major step forward with iPadOS 18, becoming more natural, contextually relevant, and personal. Users can now seamlessly type into Siri and switch between text and voice communication. Integration with ChatGPT allows Siri to provide expertise and image- and document-understanding capabilities across Apple’s platforms.
