New soundbar for the bass lovers

Blaupunkt sells soundbars in India spread across various price points. The SBWL100 is their latest addition and sits above the SBW250 with Dolby audio support and 220W speakers. But does it justify the slightly higher price tag? Let’s find out.

Clad in black, the SBWL100 is a well-designed soundbar with a mesh grille on the front to cover the tweeters and the small LED display. The back sports all the connectivity options and wall-mount slots whereas the right side features physical controls. The soundbar comes with a remote control and an 8-inch subwoofer.

Getting the soundbar to work is fairly straightforward, but the subwoofer needs to be paired before it can be used, which we found a little inconvenient because if you connect any mobile device first, you need to unpair them for the successful soundbar and subwoofer connection. In short, bundled subwoofers should come paired out-of-the-box for an improved user experience.
