But if these enquiries become obsessive and you both demand to know every detail of every moment that you spend away, it might become a form of emotional abuse later in the relationship.

Your personalities, upbringing and opinions might differ, but if your goals in life don’t fall on the same path, it could result in resentment from either side. Money, ambition, children and family values are core ideals that define any relationship in the long run and should be communicated well before you bind yourselves in matrimony.
