"I don't want an over-60s bus pass!"

Loose Women presenter Kaye Adams admits she's not completely come to terms with her age yet

Kave Adams used to be so hung-up on her age that she happily invented a fake date of birth and spent a decade lying to her own daughter before finally coming clean.

These days she insists she's a reformed character, after forcing herself to face up to reality in her How To Be 60 podcast. She even had a tattoo to mark the milestone birthday last year.

But dig a little deeper and it becomes clear that Kaye isn't quite as relaxed about being 60 as she'd like people to believe.

Turning 60 is of course when people qualify for a bus and train pass, but the Loose Women presenter is having none of it! "I'll never get one!" she laughs defiantly. "I may be coming to terms with being 60 but I don't necessarily want a badge! "I know it's a silly quirk, but we're allowed to have quirks.

I think it all goes back to my dear old mum, who wouldn't tell anyone her age." Kaye's tattoo says Over Twenty One and it's a touching tribute to her mum

Cathie who would repeat the phrase whenever anyone asked how old she was.

"My dad had a bus pass - he loved it, but my mum never had one and I don't want one either, thank you very much!" Kaye smiles.
