I wonder how many of us would agree.
We know it was invented by Alexander Graham Bell or at least that's the textbook answer.
The more exact answer is that several individuals were working on the subject at the same time, but Alexander Graham Bell happened to be the first to patent the idea.
It's rather appropriate that there should be some argument on the subject, for I'm sure that Dot isn't the only one to have mixed feelings about the invention.
