10 BURNING QUESTIONS STEPHEN MULHERN

From his showbiz beginnings on CITV and larking about with Ant & Dec on Saturday Night Takeaway to hosting the likes of Catchphrase and In for a Penny, Stephen Mulhern has always brought a smile to our faces with his feel-good presenting style. But how well do we really know the bubbly magician turned TV star? We asked him to answer Woman’s 10 burning questions.

1 What do you always stock in your fridge?

Chicken, butter, lettuce. I’m trying to get healthy, but I also have pulled beef, which is my guilty pleasure. I’ve got salad dressing, a couple of desserts and a big bar of chocolate. I find it amazing when people say they can’t believe I keep chocolate in the fridge – that’s just the way I like it.

2 What do you keep in your wallet?

Credit cards, money, my Nectar and Costco cards. And I have a little note my sister, Susie, gave me a couple of years ago that says, ‘Anything is possible if you just try.’

3 Do you have a guilty food pleasure?

After I told my mum about this, she put a stone in weight on – so you’ve been warned! I love crumpets with cheese. Toast the crumpet, butter it, put the Cheddar cheese on top and stick it in the oven.

4 Who would be more useful if you were stuck on a desert island – Ant or Dec?
