STRICTLY - Shirley to be sacked?

All is not well in the Strictly ballroom, with fans calling for head judge Shirley Ballas to be sacked over her critique of the celebrities during the current season of the annual dance show.

The furore began after the public voted Radio 2 star Richie Anderson and singer Fleur East into the dance-off, with three of the four judges opting to save Fleur. Shirley, whose vote wasn’t needed, was asked who she would have sent home had there been a tie – with the former professional dancer saying she’d have saved Richie. Shirley’s confession prompted a flurry of online comments that accused the judge of favouring male contestants.
