He may have unceremoniously left the show back in March 2021, but it's safe to say that no one has managed to successfully fill Piers Morgan's shoes on Good Morning Britain. And in recent weeks, fans have been renewing their desperate pleas for Piers, 57, to be returned to Susanna Reid's side after the pair were spotted mingling together at an awards ceremony.
Susanna, 52, looked happy and relaxed as Piers put his arm around her shoulders for a snap at the Who Cares Wins awards. Piers tweeted the photo, writing, 'Reunited! Great to see my old TV wife @susannareid100 at @TheSun #Who CaresWins awards last night.
She didn't even nag me.' It marks the first time the former colleagues have been seen together in public for some time - sparking a renewed attempt from fans to make their reunion more permanent.
One eager fan gushed, 'Best TV partnership, miss you guys hosting together,' while another added, "The dream team back. Miss your morning banter on Good Morning Britain. Looking great.
Elsewhere, a fan commented, 'It wa 'Good photo of you both, miss you being together on GMB!!' while another wrote, 'You guys were TERRIFIC together on GMB!!!'
