1 She writes all her books on la typewriter from 1946

"I paid $20 for that typewriter at the beginning of my career and I'm getting my money out of it," she said on Good Morning America.

2 Growing up she wanted to be a fashion designer 

"Even as a kid I wanted to be a fashion designer, and somehow I missed the boat and started writing in my teens and wrote my first book at 19," she told Us Weekly. "But the bug is genetic because three of my five daughters are professional stylists."

3 She writes almost constantly

Danielle averages around four to six books a year and has sold more than 800 million copies, holding the record for the longest time spent on the New York Times bestseller list at 800 weeks. She sold her first book for $5250 and is now a multimillionaire.
