ANNE'S WARNING TO CHARLES 'DON'T FORGIVE ANDREW'

The fed-up royal puts her foot down and makes him choose sides

The King pulled sister Princess Anne aside behind palace doors recently to share his plan to slowly bring brother Prince Andrew back into the public eye. But a royal insider tells Woman’s Day that straight-talking Anne shut Charles down immediately!

“As the hardest-working royal, she has never thought Andrew particularly pulled his weight and she has known about his lazy lifestyle for decades,” says our source, adding that the Princess Royal, 73, has a lot of influence over His Majesty.

“I’m sure Charles and Anne both love Andrew as a brother, and he will always be welcome at family events – that’s why he was recently staying at Balmoral.

“But I don’t think the King can forget about the recent past and let him resume royal duties, and I’m sure Anne would agree with that and stop it if she thought Charles was weakening.”

It’s clear why Anne is keen to distance the family from their disgraced brother.
