With the Princess of Wales on bed rest, her husband is determined to protect her

Her departure from The London Clinic last week was shrouded in secrecy a sign that shows the Princess of Wales’ health is still of utmost concern, despite assurances from a palace spokesperson that “she is making good progress”.

Whisked home to Windsor to enjoy an emotional reunion with her three children Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, eight, and Prince Louis, five, whom she hadn’t seen since undergoing abdominal surgery – Kate, 42, will now spend the next two months on bed rest and will only return to public engagements after medical advice.

“The fortnight Kate spent in hospital was the longest period she had been away from the kids, even longer than some royal tours, and they must have been worried about her,” royal biographer Phil Dampier tells Woman’s Day.
