The mid-September is a magical time of year for Dubai’s music scene, all the sleeping giants arise from they’re slumber to deliver knock out line-ups for the new season. What better way to kick off our 300th issue with a bang than with our cover star – Groove on the Grass. Time and time again they prove why they are one of the best in the business and with Nicolas Jaar headlining with his out of this world live show as well as Robag Wruhme, Jacques Green (Live), DJ Tennis and Nightmares on Wax this is a show not to be missed. Another of the big venues to finally open their doors is Blue Marlin Ibiza UAE the opening salvo from the beach club is nothing short of incendiary. In the coming weeks BMI have Butch, Lee Curtiss, Francesca Lombardo, Rampue, Patrice Baumel and Martin Buttrich, not to mention all the usual craziness that goes along with their parties. More huge announcements from one of the success stories of last season – BASE. The D3 outdoor venue has unleashed a mammoth lineup for the coming season including a Defected party, Erick Morillo and Apollonia! We are very excited about see the French trio perform in that huge venue. White will also be back at Meydan for another show stopping season, more information coming on their guests coming soon. There was also huge news about electronic music festival Mutek coming to Dubai, it has since been revealed that the dates will be November 16 & 17 and will play host to none other than Jeff Mills and Dasha Rush.
