This month in Blitz Martial Arts magazine: You don’t really get more famous than Benny ‘The Jet’ Urquidez. In a career that reads like a screenplay, the Californian martial artist, actor and stuntman was a pioneer of full contact karate, dabbled in MMA before it was cool and amassed six kickboxing world titles across five weight divisions. Urquidez was a giant killer and feared no man or beast, except maybe his old pal Gene LeBell. Here, former professional kickboxer and long-time Blitz correspondent Jarrod Boyle reveals why there’s much more to ‘The Jet’ than meets the eye.
