Welcome to the May 2016 Issue of PMCI - the only magazine dedicated to the PMC sector.

In this issue we take a look at "SimGun", which brings training close to reality but without the risks. We also speak to EUSECA UK about how to deal with the dreaded "active shooter" scenario.

Kit-wise, we get together with Helikon-Tex to check out their latest products and meet British brand "Bulldog" to take a look at their "bomber tough" tactical gear. We also get our hands on some stunning new helmet models from Armorsource and PMCI Editor, Bill, brings us his take on the tactical area at the 2016 IWA show in Nuremberg.

Not forgetting firearms, we see what happens when you take a well-known handgun and add some custom parts, while our two "tame" contractors discuss how they prepare their primary when they get in-country. We also welcome new contributor "Chalky" White to PMCI, as he gives us some tips on how to get the very best from your contract-issued AK.

As we approach the end of yet another tough year the team at PMCI are as always looking forward and continue to embrace the armed lifestyle that we all hold so dear! 
In this issue we look to both the past, with an excellent interview with Robert Redfeather on “Apache Knifefighting” and get on the range with the venerable Uzi, and to the future as we tackle red dot handgun sights and some of the very latest training tools to hit the market. 
Along with our usual focus-points on “guns n’ gear” and some serious attitude, PMCI is ready to evolve further and  we're fully prepped to hit the New Year ahead!

It's been another hard slog for the PMCI crew this time, as curbs on international travel continue to curb our ability to actually get together but as usual, Bill and Trampas have pulled yet another great issue out of the (drag!) bag - and it's a very special one that headlines with a "Dream Rifle Build" that replicates the iconic Ruger Mini 14 as used by "Hannibal and the Team"... We do love it when a plan comes together! 
We're also joined again by Jim W, who brings a deep-dive insight into the world of profiling and we look in detail at what some of our favourite manufacturers have been up to, landing our test reports in full! 
All in all, it may have taken just a bit more time, and some serious "logistics juggling" to get this issue together but we hope you'll agree it's been worth the wait!

It's that time again and even though parts of our world are still ravaged by COVID, Bill and Trampas have pulled out the stops to get another issue of PMCI up and online! The world doesn't stop turning, and neither do they stop "getting work done" as PMCI gets inside the doors of the cutting-edge WOFT Training Facility in the USA and has a look at what G&G Armament are doing with the Taiwanese Military in terms of "6MM Training" for the real world. While Trampas gets on the range with the SIG M18, whilst Bill turns his attention to packs and plate carriers; it may be hard to get stuff done right now, but as always PMCI deliver something for everyone when it comes to "tacticool"!

It's a whole new year for the PMCI team, and whilst some of the team have gone "on task" there's some new blood joining us this time to drive on (literally!) into new territory! As usual there's in-depth range reviews with the SIG Scorpion P320 AXG and the Glock 44, a look at the SOG "Pillar" blade, and focus articles on LPVO optics, footwear and chest rigs, so it's business as usual at PMCI, whatever this old world throws at us next!

Another year draws to a close, and boy has it been a challenging one! But it's very much business as usual at PMCI as Bill and Trampas reflect on FIVE YEARS and 27 ISSUES heading up the Editorial Team and look to the future! There's also in depth reports as usual on the  22- Swarm from Elevated Silence, Ruger Precision Rifle .338 Lapua, Trijicon SRO, and the usual mix of gear reports, tests, and training tips! Another challenging period has forced us yet again to adapt to overcome, but as always the PMCI team get the job done whatever adversity we face! This issue kicks off with a very pertinent interview dealing with Situational Awareness, and we're very grateful to all-round good-guy and author of the book "Spotting Dange", Gary Quesenberry, for spending some time with us. Moving on we've got a look at targets systems both "old skool" and new, our usual mix of firearms, blades, and "tacticool tech", and Bill delves into fleece garments as we kick of our cold weather gear series. With more than ever for you to sink your teeth into, make sure to put this issue of PMCI of your reading menu!

It's time again for the PMCI crew to go live with a new issue, and as always it's completely full to the brim with news, reviews, and insights! This time we're proud to be joined again by Varg Freeborn who (literally!) takes a look at his newly acquired "eyepro" from MAGPUL, new Contributor James M comes aboard with the lowdown on his favourite Leatherman Tool, and we welcome the return of Andy N as he looks at perishable skills. Clint gets down to the range and evaluates the SIG M17 in both real and "6mm trainer" form, whilst Trampas speaks to firearm tactics trainer Tu Lam about his collaboration with our friends at Spartan Blades, and gets a bit "legal" too. Bill brings his technical knowledge as he spotlights some righteous tactical gear from Clawgear and Helikon-Tex to round everything off for another information packed issue... we hope you enjoy it!

It's a whole new world out there right now and as we're all still keeping low and slow, this time the PMCI crew looks hard at training tools that you can be safely using at home to keep your edge honed to perfection! Trampas also takes us inside a very special "Tac .22" build and gets to grips with the SIG XFIVE, whilst Bill brings in the latest news from Polish gear specialists Helikon-Tex; add to this a fabulous blade creation from Cap'n Craig and the Skallywag crew and the usual mix of news and reviews, and PMCI has you "lockdown covered"!

2020 has definitely started with all boots on the ground as the entire PMCI team made their way to SHOT Show to check out the latest and greatest at the biggest shooting show on the planet, and you can read the report in this issue! We've also got to grips with the SIG M400, the rather special Spartan Harsey Dagger, and the latest 6mm gas training "AR" from VFC, so whatever your "tool of choice", you can read about it in PMCI!

As another year falls behind us once again PMCI brings the latest from the 2019 show scene with an overview of the colossal DSEI in London, an update on the SIG 938, news from ASP Batons and Torrent Suppressors, along with an in depth look at the latest creation from celebrity shooter, bladesmith, and all-round good guy Dustin Rhodes. As we look forward to SHOT 2020, there's something for everyone to get excited about in this latest issue!

Time seems to fly by, and when it comes to training we never seem to have enough time, do we? In this issue we are joined again by our good friend Bart from BZ Academy to give us an idea of the training offered at the SIG Academy, along with some on the ground coverage from Trampas and the PMCI USA team on the BLADE Show 2019! With so much going on around us it is important that "skills and drills" up kept to date and PMCI was lucky enough to spend some time with CROPS, talking to them about their "Technical Surveillance & Cueing Course". We also had an in-depth conversation with Gerald Bailey from SUAREZ INTERNATIONAL, in South Africa, about about their new eBook, entitled "Dynamic Vehicle Combatives", which is an introduction into defending oneself both inside and outside of your vehicle, while Trampas looks at a great bit of gear that will truly help with your range training.
