Our September issue is traditionally our summer themed issue, full to the brim with seaside and beach themed art. This year is no different, so welcome to a world of golden sands and clear blue skies! If only real life could be like that, not a rain cloud in sight!
 
Inside this issue, we have some gorgeous art for you to be inspired by. Our cover star Anna-Karin has created some dreamy projects, using watercolour on canvas. So calming!. Crafty Individuals design and produce stunning stamps for every theme imaginable, and a summer beach theme is no different. Check out how the designers have used these amazing images!
 
This month we also have inspirational tutorials from Sarah Anderson and Lou Withers, a fabulous textural stamping technique from Julie Ann Lee, and a fabulous masterclass from Jaine on embossing powder. Lots for you all to experiment with!

Welcome to issue 240 of Craft Stamper…. And even with my dubious maths skills I can work out that at 12 issues a year, that means… WE’RE 20 YEARS OLD THIS MONTH!
 
Well didn’t that just fly past! 20 years has seen a lot of craft ‘fads’ come and go, but we’re still here inspiring you with amazing stamped artwork! Long may it continue, I say :) Check out our Facebook page this month for some extra special 20th Birthday giveaways, we have rather a lot of good things up our sleeves!
 
Our 240th issue is full of some gorgeous projects. New Craft Stamper family member Monika Maksym has used loads of moulds to create a wonderful book cover. Have a look on page 28. We have FOUR printables sheets to share this month with you, IKL Designs have created two background surface patterned sheets for us, as well as some wonderful stylised flowers. Have a look on page 58, to see how you can get your hands on them!
 
This month we also have inspirational tutorials from Riikka Kovasin and Melina Dahl, Not one but TWO fabulous Masterclasses, and we also have some fabulous creations made using embroidery hoops in our 3D challenge gallery. Lots for you all to experiment with!

"Welcome to our April issue!
 
Is it spring yet? I hope so! Due to our rather overzealous magazine lead times, today I’m writing this with storm Ciara battering the windows, and with flood warnings all over the place. I hope future me (and you!) who reads this once the magazine is printed, is in a much better place, weather wise! Definitely a day for battening down the hatches and getting on with some serious crafting :)
 
Our April issue is full of some gorgeous projects. I have smiled so much this month, it seemed like every parcel from the team brought yet another stunning project for me to be inspired by! I covet the bag that Jo has adorned with her beautiful stamped images :) I’m in awe of anyone who can combine stitching and stamping to this level, simply wonderful! I may have indulged myself this month with the Printables pages. Art Dolls are possibly my favourite things to make, so we’ve given you all some elements so you can make some too! Jaine has done a fab job with them, have a look!
 
This month we also have inspirational tutorials from Chris Dark and Beverley Fraser,  Anna-Karin shares some cool techniques for creating grass, and we have some fabulous creations made using teeny wooden tiles in our 3D challenge gallery. Lots for you all to experiment with!

"Welcome to our March issue!
 
March always seems to be the start of spring, so let’s hope the weather has grown a little warmer and the new green shoots are beginning to be seen! As I’m writing this I’m still bundled up in warm jumpers with the heating on, so we’ll see how accurate I am with predicting the future!
 
Our March issue is full of fresh spring projects, lots of nature themed makes and gorgeous colour schemes. I adore the bright pop of yellow Michelle has used on our cover star project this month! Check out the rest of her She Art feature on page 22. Even if the spring flowers aren’t quite out yet in the garden, you could always make your own! Bozena has created the most stunning stamped flowers, all displayed perfectly in their own pot! Why not have a go yourself? The easy to follow tutorial is on page 46.

"Welcome to Craft Stamper February!
 
I hope everyone is nice and rested from a lovely holiday season! Did you get new crafty goodies? I hope you’ve had a chance to experiment and create some art already.
 
Our February issue has a *little* nod to the traditionally romantic Valentine’s Day season, but not too much! I think wall to wall hearts and flowers can be wearing for anyone! We have a wonderful project from Kath Stewart on page 22, lots of lovely layers, with a delicate pink tones colour scheme. Just beautiful. We got a little over excited with our Printables this month, and made 3 pages for you. All with a text theme, we think these should prove very useful. The CS team have already been playing with them, as you can see in our Cut Out And Keep printables page!
 
This month we also have inspirational tutorials from Clare Messenger and Jenny Marples, Brenda Brown shares another amazing texture technique, and we have some fabulous creations made using MDF frames in our 3D challenge gallery. Lots for you all to experiment with!

"Welcome to our first issue of 2020!
 
Happy New Year! (well sort of, obviously you’re reading this in December!) All the team at Craft Stamper wish you a year full of love, happiness and, of course, lots of crafting!
 
We are debuting two new features for 2020 this month. You may have already seen the Art Calls for our new Stamp Your Art Out! reader gallery on social media, but this will be the first gallery in print. Our new feature gives readers a lot more scope to create, with no colour restrictions or even ‘what can I make?’ restrictions, so we hope to see all kinds of stamped art work from you talented lot! We also start our Cut Out And Keep printables page this issue, featuring projects made from our printable elements with a handy ‘how to’ on the back. Cut them out, keep them handy and use as prompts and inspiration!
 
This month we also have inspirational tutorials from Anna-Karin Evaldsson and Tracey Hey, a great Masterclass on metallic media from Michelle Webb, and some fabulous creations made using metal castings in our 3D challenge gallery. Lots for you all to experiment with!

"Welcome to our December issue!
 
It’s Chriiiiiiistmas :) Or so Noddy Holder and Slade would have us believe! Our December issue is traditionally our Christmas issue, so be prepared to feast your eyes on lots of seasonal wonderful-ness this month. Our photography team have been up to their eyes in fake snow getting all the lovely creations ready for you to see, and that snow gets EVERYWHERE, so we’re most grateful to them!
 
We are welcoming Saadia and Susie to the Craft Stamper family this month. Both ladies have created stunning, yet totally different projects for you be inspired by. As we’re all fans of colour and altered books here in the office, we love them both. I hope you do too, have a look on pages 14 and 22!

"Welcome to our November issue!
 
Halloween is always a tricky theme when you’re a crafter… some hate it and would rather drip glue into their eyes than create spooky projects, others simply love it and would use skulls and bats all year around! We’ve tried to cater for both sorts of crafters in this issue, we have *some* Halloween inspiration, but lots of other amazing art if you’re not that fussed!
 
We are welcoming two new artists to the Craft Stamper family in this issue. Firstly, Angie Coomber! I love her fun and funky journal cover. I think you will too, have a look on page 28. We’re all excited here at Craft Stamper HQ! This month we’re launching our Printables, something we’ve been busy with behind the scenes for ages, and now we can share! We’re fast heading towards the long summer holidays for those of us with school aged children. Something to look forward to, or something that means a lack of crafting time? Here’s hoping everyone can find time for some nice relaxing crafting this month, we have plenty of projects to get those creative juices flowing!

Tracey Hey has created the cutest puffin scene inside a journal box, the colours are so tranquil and calming, it’s a beautiful thing! The journal die Tracey used is by Eileen Hull, queen of all things journal if we’re talking about dies! Just to prove that point, her design team have used various dies from the Eileen Hull range by Sizzix to create some amazing journals. Love them!

After the heatwave we had at Easter here in the UK, I must admit I was wondering whether that would be the extent of our summer! I’m really hoping this issue finds you all nice and warm, crafting outside in the glorious sunshine.
 
This month, we have a plethora of amazing art for you to be inspired by. Helen Chilton has created a wonderfully whimsical clock for us, such a cool idea!. Anyone who has ever seen any of my own work will know I’m not a pastel person :) However, I think the absolutely gorgeous projects from Bev Brown have changed my mind! Beautifully vibrant, yet delicate at the same time! I think they’re stunning.

Welcome to our April issue! Is spring finally just around the corner? Probably not, as I write this most of the country is covered in snow! We can be spring-like in our crafting though, I love all the bright fresh green colour schemes that pop up around now. Definitely a breath of fresh air! This issue could easily be subtitled ‘The Trac(e)y Issue’! We have amazing articles from a triumvirate of Tracies to inspire you all. Ms Hey on page 6 has created the most amazing layered acrylic block, Ms Evans on page 18 has a delicate pink floral panel to share, and Ms Easson on page 28 weaves her usual magic with a stunningly painted bauble decoration. I think our Christmas issues are my favourites to work on, although all the fake snow (sssh, don’t tell anyone it’s fake!) we use in the photoshoots does have a nasty habit of getting EVERYWHERE :) This issue has some stunning Winter inspiration for you to drool over, I know I did! I LOVE the project Lou has created for us in this issue. Marlene Meijer has created the most amazing range of stamps in her Studio Light range, and Lou has used one of her girls to create a stunning mixed media art piece. The addition of stamped card on top of stamped fabric gives the most wonderful ‘underwater’ look, it’s fabulous.
Ever wanted to draw a seahorse but didn’t know where to start? Elizabeth has created a tutorial just for us. The perfect step by step, we’ll all be creating seahorse art in no time!

Julie Ann Lee is renowned for her amazing assemblage work, and if you have a look at her art in this issue you will see why. This absolutely wonderful story book style canvas project simply blew us away! Combining amazing texture, along with her signature collaged icons, this piece is simply not to be missed.

I was really interested to read the Masterclass by Kim this month. I have used Yupo paper before, but only with Alcohol inks so I was really keen to experiment with the new techniques Kim has shared. It’s a great read!.

The super talented Charlotte Kristensen has a great project showing us why we shouldn’t throw away the wooden blocks from out stamps, should we decide to unmount them! Amanda Southern has crafted a stunningly vibrant project for us, just a wonderful use of colour, we love it!

Our February issue is crammed full of inspirational makes, so I hope we have something to share that will kickstart your creativity for 2018! Anna-Karin has created a wonderful project using packaging in this month’s Creative Upcycling feature, so don’t throw out any packaging from your new stash, it may well come in very handy! 

I’m not sure what I was thinking when I asked the designers to have a go at altering some garden tools for the 3D challenge feature this issue. No matter how off the wall my requests may get, the team never fail to amaze me with the stunning art they can dream up, and I have to admit this 3D challenge feature has turned into one of my favourites!

Emilia has created a stunning winter house for us, I adore the non traditional pink colour scheme! Why not have a go using a white on white palette for that extra snowy look?
 
I’m having to pinch myself a little, we have not one but TWO stamping greats sharing projects with us this issue! Both Barbara Gray and Dawn Bibby have done us proud with some stunning creation. We are thrilled to have Barbara as part of the Craft Stamper family this year, this feature is the start of a wonderful series of Clarity style inspiration! We can’t wait to see the amazing projects she has in store for us.
 

We also have a wonderfully detailed wall hanging from Emma Godfrey, an amazingly textured decoration by Monika Januszewsa- Rosik and some stunning Christmas cards in our RSS gallery in this issue. Lots for you all to experiment with!

Our December issue is filled to bursting with some sensational seasonal makes. Riikka has crafted some gorgeous whimsical angels, perfect to put on the top of the tree, as well as on your mantlepiece!
 
The ‘Dirty Pour’ technique is one that has been hitting social media a lot recently, so we thought we would share a tutorial on just how to achieve this amazing effect. Expert Sue Ralph guides us through, it’s definitely one to try!
 
We also have a wonderfully layered canvas by Jenny Marples, some great ideas for your planners from Paper, Pen, Plan and Jaine Drake, and some gorgeous hanging decorations in our 3D Challenge gallery in this issue!
