In this issue
Welcome to Military Modelling Magazine, Volume 48, Number 1. A New Year brings, for many, the opportunity for a new start and this could apply to modelling as well if you are the open-minded type. For some, a dramatic change of course would be trying a new scale, a new technique or even a new genre. For me, last year, I not only took on a soft-skin for the first time but I also tried resin and a scale I had not tackled for a vehicle before – 1/24. What will I try this year for the first time? Something in metal maybe or even in wood? Both need to be explored so that I can develop an increasingly rounded experience of what modelling is all about. With this in mind, why don’t you try something different this year; it will do you good on so many levels.
If you have an idea for an article, however bizarre you may think it is, please contact me on the same e-mail address and don’t forget to send in your images for the ‘Readers Showcase’; this is your chance to shine!
‘Carry On!’ and Happy New Year!
All the best
