Reality is often only a thought away from magic,  and magic is just reality with wings. Telegram's August Issue has Magic Realism at its core. April is the month of jests, roasts, laughter, pranks, and general tomfoolery. It is 30 days of changing weather marked by the start of a new school year, a new financial year and kickstarted with a worldwide celebration of the 'fools' - those who fool, and those who get fooled!
Literature pays an ode to the spirit of foolishness through several idioms dedicated to the 'fool' and his many antics. We at Telegram are celebrating the month of fools, the literary way!

Humans don’t like shadows. There is something sinister about them, about the way they seem to hide unfathomable secrets within their dark embrace. But they forget that it is often the brightest lights that cast the darkest shadows...

This month, join us as our contributors envision shadows, lights and the many shades in between!

February is the month where Valentine's Day bombards everyone's timelines and love dominate our feeds, how then could we at Telegram stay behind? We muse about first loves, last loves, lost and found loves, sweet loves, dark loves, heartbreaking loves, heart-mending loves, even heartless loves! 

This February, join us as we celebrate, ridicule, ruminate on, accept, reject, philosophise on and throw brick-backs at the enigma called love.

The English language is full of examples of idioms and metaphors around these pachyderms. If you can have an elephant’s memory, see pink elephants, deal with the elephant in the room, or maintain a white elephant, we can (totally) dedicate an issue to elephants!

2016 was the year that Telegram came into existence. It started off as a small experiment and grew to a slightly less small experiment within no time, winning absolutely no accomplishments and accolades along the way. What it did earn, though, is some goodwill. In keeping with this spirit of thankfulness, we have decided to make this issue about the best of the entries that we’ve received and published. The best of Telegram, collated and presented just for you. Let this be our gesture of thanks to you, dear reader. This one is for gratitude.
