“Doodling is our way of expressing feelings and emotions through every stroke of the pen. Every line means something and every character represents a position. I start focusing on doodle art when I was a freshman college. During my free time, I scribble random things, patterns of circles, and create other shapes at the back of my notebook. When my friend saw my works, they were dazzled and believed on my skill. So I decided to buy a personal sketch pad and other drawing materials for doodling.

While browsing the internet, I saw works from other artists and I feel discouraged. I feel the negativity while comparing my works to them. I stopped doodling for almost 3 months until a read a quote from the famous philosopher Aristotle: ‘The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.’ I begin to realize that my art is not horrible, but in fact unique! That there is no such thing as hideous art, because every art is beautiful in their own ways—no standards and no limitations. Until now I continue drawing, experimenting and learning other kinds of art. I continue doodling, freelancing, and commitments with DAE. If a college student like me can do such thing, why can’t you? So what are you waiting for? Pens up and Doodle on!”
