Instead of a festive issue, we decided to come out with the sex issue during this festive period because while fireworks are going off at public events across the world, we imagine all sorts of pyrotechnics going off under the sheets. There is no better time to ignite the romance with the magical atmosphere that lingers and the unfamiliarity of the New Year to have us scrambling for the familiarity physical intimacy brings.

In this star-spangled issue, Dutch transgender model Valentijn de Hingh bedecks our cover. Find out the story behind her dress on the cover, why the designers used flags of 71 different countries to form its train, and what those countries all have in common.
