After narrowly escaping the throes of two terrible demons, Chito is soon haunted by "La Carreta Sin Bueyes" (The Creaky Wagon) and enchanted by "La Segua" (The Horse Lady), who lures him in with her mysterious beauty.

This collected edition of the 4-issue horror miniseries features behind-the-scenes production notes, art and designs that helped to shape the style and tone of "Asusto." Inspired by characters from classic Costa Rican and Latin American folktales that have been passed down through the generations. Written and drawn by award-winning animator Franco Cespedes.

Chito seeks refuge from the night's terrors in a solitary church, only to encounter "El Padre Sin Cabeza" (The Headless Priest), and finally, a menacing alliance of violent demons orchestrated by "La Tulevieja" (The Banana Hat Bastard.)

After crudely dismissing the talk of local terrors, Chito ventures home late at night only to find himself caught in the clutches of "El Cadejos" (The Black Devil Dog) and spellbound by "La LLorona" (The Weeping Woman.)

Late one night in the tavern, the conversation among the day laborers turns to local tales of terror -- and things get ugly between Chito and Diógenes.
