Urban Liaison magazine is the first imprint under Rogers-Strawn Publishing, LLC. With a passion for our community, we, Tobin Rogers and Chris Strawn, have taken over the Urban Liaison name and assets, and will continue to pursue the original mission; to be a support for small businesses in our community. Expanding upon that, we will evolve UL to include more editorial content to make it an even more valuable resource for our businesses, community members and visitors. With our great networks, we believe this new chapter for UL will take our community and the magazine to new heights.

In 2008, Cheryl Richard founded and published the first issue of The Urban Liaison magazine. The 12 page magazine was created with the goal to be a support system for the small businesses of downtown Nampa, Idaho. Within three years the magazine expanded to include all of Canyon County, and not long after, the entire Treasure Valley. This immense growth was based credited to UL’s insistence upon their guiding philosophy – to be a support system to small businesses.
