2 GEN ARCHITECTS CREATING DESIGN LEGACIES

All over the world, we have seen second-gen architects who have taken their parents’ design practices and capitalized on their hereditary eye for design along with the experience of the mentor parent to the next level. Be it John Lloyd Wright, son of Frank Lloyd Wright, or Rafael Pelli of César Pelli or IM Pei and his two sons, Chien Chung and Li Chung, the instances are numerous at the international level.

We are seeing the same trend emerging in India, with many youngsters joining the design legacy created by their parents. And these two generations, some still very young in the business of architecture, are making waves in design and creating landmarks all over the country. We get into candid conversations with five such power duos.

Join us, as we bring to you some stories unheard.
