THE CO-WORKING SPACE, VENUS COMMUNITI , IN BENGALURU, DESIGNED BY TANGRAM IS AN ECLECTIC BLEND OF BEAUTY AND PRACTICALITY.

CO-WORKING IT OUT

Planet Venus, they say, is named after the Roman goddess of love and beauty. And this office, named after the planet, definitely justifies the name! Washed in a color palette of brick red, orange, and greys, all inspired by the fiery planet, the designers of this co-working space in Bengaluru have definitely done a fantastic job of turning the 7-storey bare structure into a space full of life, art and love.

THE RIGHT START

The impact starts right at the entrance. Its floor-to-ceiling glass is perfect to give a glimpse of the space and make people notice this new addition in a busy neighborhood. The simple yet attractive light pattern in the reception acts as a hook to bring people in, creating a wow factor.

The reception table is made on-site in a black matt PU finish and the designers have opted for a Sattutario marble to play off the color theme to add character. However, as you walk in, it’s the open space that strikes you the most. The reception, lounge area, the pantry, and the café seating area are all stacked together, and a carefully curated material palette creates a story between them.

EYE FOR DETAIL

Moving over to the double-height space, the staircase and the double-height wall becomes the focal point in the room. The space under the staircase has been utilized by adding built-ins and open shelves, making for an interesting display.
