After spending over 30 years in the basement of the building, this office that celebrates sunshine is a delight to the eyes and soul. The designers admit, the design has resulted in better productivity and morale of the employees. And why not, a designer needs to be inspired, isn’t it?
The highlight of this office is undoubtedly the stream of natural light that flows through the space. The office is planned to reflect the creativity and simplicity of the company and the planning is done in such a way that it automatically connects with the person visiting for the first time, keeping them intrigued and captivated throughout. “Our focus was not just on comfort and efficiency but also on the wellbeing of every user. We incorporated the concept “the art of living with nature” in our design. As an architect and also the user, the focus was to utilise materials that went hand in hand with nature. Central to this approach was that all spaces should receive sunlight so that the well-being quotient of the office was high,” shares Shitiz Gupta, Principal Architect, Mohan and Associates.
