Yael Dryzin
Yael Dryzin Born in 1986, lives and works in Israel and Greece. Graduate of Art Studies at Bezalel Academy, Jerusalem (2014).
In addition, she studied in various private settings, among them artists: Eli Shamir, Aram Gershuni, Israel Hirshberg, and Sigal Tsabari. It can be said that her artistic work is influenced both by external and internal reality.
Dryzin's work stems from her interest in the experience of life as a woman, In the face of her representation in the history of art by painters, and from the reality of endless images in our current culture, which shape the prevailing femininity of our day. She is also influenced by the community of women around her, whom she frequently depicts in feminine support circles and in personal and revealing portraits of women in their intimate surroundings. Her works deal with femininity in modern community life and in relationships between spouses.
Dryzin has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Israel, including the Fresh Paint Fair (2017).
