Volkswagen sells 8,00,000 Golfs annually and it has been doing it on an average since 1974. Overall 35 million units of the Golf have been sold worldwide. We got to savor the flavor of the newest Golf in the market and as a topping had one of the first cars as well.
CHANGED FACE
The new face of the Golf might not be to everyone’s taste. However, look deeper and the essence remains. For example, there is the sharp styling on one hand and then there is the essence of being tarmac sniffing low upfront. Modern elements like LED lighting all around have also been incorporated. However, the Golf has become a lot more modern in every other sense and lost quite a bit of the old world charm. For example the window line has risen and for the first time the Golf looks wedge-shaped. The rear end also gets a considerably high line. However, all of this is to aid aerodynamics.
