Most Harley Dealers in this area didn’t even have one in stock when I called. Some are not even going to carry them.
But when I arrived to see our friends at Frazier’s Harley-Davidson in Buford, GA last week, they had two. I’m talking about the new Harley Livewire!
WOW! Whatta machine; 0-60 mph in just 3 seconds. Talking with the guys at Frazier’s, they think it might even be faster than that. All electric. Instant torque. The instant grin on your face. And bugs in your teeth.
During my visit, I happily took the opportunity to sit on one. Greg Schoudt, the sales manager removed the sign that warned people not to sit on this special machine without supervision. Then Big Carl came over to answer all of my questions about the new electric Harley.
The first thing that I noticed, after swinging a leg over, was the aggressive seating position … so unlike ANY Harley, I’ve ever sat on before. Then, I instinctively grabbed for the clutch. “Where’s the clutch?” I stammered. “It’s automatic,” Big Carl reminded me.

I was thinking about some of my riding experiences, both good and not so good, and wondered how I was able to keep from killing myself.

THIS ONE’S FOR THE DADS OUT THERE
HONORING THEIR COURAGE AND SACRIFICE, HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
My Uncle *Gee' was my dad's father figure in his life for many years because his father worked many hours. He came from Italy and worked with marble but than later became ill and couldn't do much with my dad. That's when Uncle 'Gee' stepped in and helped my dad in life as a father figure. So in this month of June. as a special Father's Day tribute, we would like to honor my Uncle "Gee' Fidel Galletti who was a real WWII war hero pilot who flew B-17s. Most of all, he was my dad's hero This story is courtesy of The 390th Memorial Museum and my cousin. Marie Gallletti, Mitchell.
