Thanks to eight years of production and a verifiable track record under its belt, Ford’s 6.7L Power Stroke has proven itself much more reliable than the 6.0L and 6.4L engines that preceded it. Still, like any engine, the all-Ford V8 has its drawbacks—namely, failure of the Garrett GT32 SST turbo on ’11-14 trucks and a Bosch CP4.2 that’s more inclined to wear than a comparable CP3.
