The lucky winner of our Eibach/dream automotive private label spring kit gets his prize.
Back in the summer we ran a competition with top suspension manufacturer Eibach, and the respected Honda specialists Dream Automotive, to win an Eibach lowering spring kit, plus receive fitting at Dream Automotive in Bushey. However, these were no ordinary springs – this was a kit especially made for Dream by Eibach UK to the firm’s own specification. The kit was for the FK2 Honda Civic Type R model only and, suffice to say, there are quite a few of you owners out there, judging from the number of entries we received! Unfortunately, as much as we’d like to, not everyone could be a winner, and this time lady luck was shining down on Luke Foley from Basingstoke.
FOLLOW YOUR DREAM
Fast forward a couple of weeks and it is a dry but blustery October day. We find ourselves at Dream Automotive HQ in Bushey, which strangely is just inside the entrance to a school. After talking to owner Phil Crafford, the reasons for the location become clear. Based just within the reaches of the M25 and M1, the school teaches Automotive studies, which Phil is involved with teaching. Having worked within the Honda dealer network for over 15 years, Phil took the jump to set up his own workshop here, where he could follow his own dream…
