The Detel Easy Plus continues to be a simple cute looker like the Detel Easy which we reviewed a year back. But when you take a closer look, you realise the little electric vehicle is very refined compared to its predecessor. The Easy Plus is now priced at Rs 41,999 and one can book this for Rs 1999. You do not need a license to ride it nor does this vehicle require a registration.

FEATURES & STYLING

The Detel Easy Plus comes with two sets of keys. One set is to start the ebike and the other is to open the seat compartment. Ideally the key should be the same for the e-bike as well as for the seat compartment. Moreover, there is no inbuilt lock in this e-bike. The body is powder coated metal alloy.

The electric bike gets a very smart digital screen. The readings are very clear and the colours very attractive and bright. Though the screen shows more than two ride modes, here the option is only for one and two. Other information on the screen relate to battery range, speed, odometer and signs for indicator and headlamp.

The round LED headlamp has two levels of lighting. When you twist the ignition key to get going, a small round portion of the headlamp lights up, it’s like a DRL. You can continue with the ride or else if you want the headlamp fully lit up then you need to twist the key one more level. At this point you can see the headlamp sign light up on the screen. There are no switches for the headlamps. The rear tail lamp also functions simultaneously.
