Just before the new Pulsar 250 came out in December, Bajaj had silently updated the Dominar 400 with a new kit. We could have visited a dealer and brought you a quick review of the motorcycle, but Bajaj insisted we wait. The kit comprises some touring accessories that were developed with inputs from some of Dominar’s touring ambassadors. These are the girls and boys who have participated in the various Dominar odysseys - local and international - and Bajaj wanted us to get their perspective on these accessories before we went out to review them. All these tourers had their viewpoints about what the Dominar needed and what it didn’t, but the common voice suggested that they prefer factory designed and factory fit options instead of the aftermarket accessories that are more like a one-size-fit-all with custom mounts and linkages for the motorcycle you want to add them to. So while you have read the word ‘accessories’ so many times already, these bits you will read about now are all a standard fit on the 2022 Dominar.
