Some truck builders can be satisfied with bodying a truck and fitting it with big wheels. Travis Bauman out of Fairview Heights, Illinois, is not one of those builders—not in the least. Travis has been in the scene for around 16 years now and has seen many trends and fads come and go. One of the things he misses about the past truck scene is the number of full builds done back then. To Travis, a full build does not stop at a body drop with big wheels and maybe even a nice paint job. “The theme in the scene has pretty much been big wheels, a big body drop, and it’s done,and that just ain’t me,” Travis says.
