The two buses frequently travel together as Merlin is the regular drive of Chris Brown, Di’s husband and partner in the running of the ever-expanding club South Coast Transporters, a number of whose member vans we have featured in these pages, including another one in this issue. So, we’re probably a bit overdue in taking a look at Chris’s own and equally eye-catching T4!
BVW (before VWs) Chris had been into the Japanese car scene, which he referred to as ‘money, money, money!’ when we met up to discuss Merlin. Hmm, the VW scene has some similarities after all, not to mention certain extra costs with Merlin, which we’ll get to later!
