Oil System Flush And Detox

We are always cautious about new processes that make claims about improving performance, reducing emissions and saving fuel. But when a trusted expert tells us we should listen, we’re willing to do so. Alan Hayward

Oil System Flush And Detox

Down in deepest darkest Hampshire, not far from the coast in Havant, Terry Harborne of TH Performance has been quietly building a reputation for indepth knowledge, honest opinion and excellent technical and tuning skills. He is, apparently, the busiest of all the Pendle performance agents around the country. He built his reputation in the Transporter community off the back of this and his excellent technical skills, good service and general bonhomie. I visited TH Performance a few years ago for a Pendle Tuning training day and came away impressed, if not a little dizzy from all the technical information floating around that day.

When Terry contacted me recently and told me he had a new engine detox system I needed to see, I was a little cautious. Sensing my reticence, he said, “I’m not talking about one of those Carbon Clean things, this is entirely different”. That’s not all he said but I’ll leave him to express his opinions on that. Now I’m not going to get involved with whether carbon flushing systems work or not. Suffice it to say it is a contentious issue with eager proponents on both sides. I was, however, relieved when he said, “it really isn’t like those at all”. With my interest piqued, a date was set and I headed to Havant.
