xBhp: People know you by your YouTube channel but you had a story before that as well and we’d like you to share that with our readers.

Deepak Gupta: My story started with xBhp. It was in 2011, I guess when we had the Flickr Ride and that’s when I joined xBhp. There was some contest in which we had to click/collect pictures from some places in Delhi. That was my first interaction with xBhp.

xBhp: What exactly was the contest?

Deepak Gupta: We were supposed to click five photographs from some places around Delhi. I am not too sure because it was some 10 years ago and I don’t recall the details but yeah, there were 5 photographs. Some Sachin Gupta won the contest.

xBhp: Before you started your YouTube channel, what did you do?

Deepak Gupta: I had a mobile shop but when the Chinese mobiles entered the scene, the sales dwindled. After that, I opened a gift shop. Around the time I joined xBhp, I was really interested in photography so I did wedding photography as well. I’ve tried my hand at a lot of things and finally, I am trying to settle into YouTube now. It takes time. The income isn’t what it should be but it’s enough for sustenance. It isn’t much but I’m trying to work towards it.

xBhp: How much time did it take you to reach the stage at which you are now? Also, a lot of young people are inspired by you so maybe you could guide them the right way?
