ASK ANY COMPANY HEAD aor a seasoned CEO the reason behind the organisation’s success, and he or she is bound to give partial credit to the team. And the pillar that manages them all is the Human Resources. The fourth edition of the BW Businessworld HR Excellence Awards 2018 saw dignitaries like Raj Nayak, COO, Viacom18 who discussed the key learnings and qualities of leadership, and Thyrocare’s Arokiaswamy Velumani, who emphasised on breaking the stereotypes. “The employee doesn’t work for a better pay check, but the respect and recognition that is provided by his/her leader,” said Nayak as he inaugurated the awards night elaborating the art of creating more leaders.
Velumani emphasised on how important it is for the organisations to be innovative and disruptive. “Take less to get more because if you take more, you get less.
