How do Tata Realty’s office infrastructure and its buildings ensure its commitment to the safety of its people and the environment?
At Tata Realty, good planning, creative design thinking, strategic space management, skilled handiwork, and precise execution are the critical ingredients for a well-made commercial space to ensure great placemaking. Our design team is focused on keeping the structures versatile with the implementation of proper technology and ensuring safety. With Covid-19 pandemic wellness has taken a centre stage in building design and construction. Now, with India entering the third wave of the pandemic, the immediate focus is on ensuring the safety of people, whereas the long-term focus is on being well-prepared to deal with such situations in the future. With health and safety becoming a priority to all, employers too have to take up this responsibility towards their employees. At Tata Realty, we consider all aspects of safety and the upgradation of design features to accommodate measures that aid people during a pandemic. We have ensured a seamless “Touchless Journey” at our operational assets. Commercial buildings are now taking proactive measures to maintain health, wellness, and safety standards at workplaces and places of public gathering. We have always ensured our commitment to the safety of not only people but also the environment from the construction stage onwards. By installing mobile smog towers at all our construction sites for effective dust control, ensure safe disposing of waste through landfills etc.
Tata Realty is one of the few Indian developers to acquire the WELL Health-Safety Rating for its operational portfolio. What were the steps and processes put in place to achieve this goal?
