He has been with company since 1998 and has been instrumental in expanding SBI Mutual Fund’s reach in both urban and rural areas. Prior to joining the company, he was with SBI where he handled various assignments in Retail Banking, Corporate Credit and Information Technology Initiatives. He has done his Post Graduation in Commerce, Post Graduate Diploma in PMIR (Personnel Management & Industrial Relations) & CAIIB. He has interests in economics, current affairs and public relations
In the past few months, I happened to spend considerable time with friends and relatives, and the usual questions around where to invest and if they should continue investing, given the volatility in markets. Although they come from different backgrounds, the crux of their concerns was similar, which set me thinking about why such questions arose so frequently. It made me start looking into the behavior of some of them and I figured they were very clear about most aspects of finances, but most people fail to put a clear outcome from their investments.
